Yes I had the same trouble.  Unfortunately potato debian doesn't
seem to have this file.  I fixed the problem by borrowing the file
from a mandrake linux installation --- not the ideal solution, but
it works.  With a bit of luck, debian testing will have it --- perhaps try
upgrading???
