Hi Luggers,
The last Saturday of the month rapidly approaches, and time for the
Launceston LUG meeting. This month we will be having a talk about the
3D modeling program Blender. Currently version 2.80 is in Alpha 2
release, and the latest post dated 24th October from the Blender
website is "we are currently an estimated 2-3 weeks away from
releasing a 2.80 Beta version". So we are going to take the
opportunity to look at what development in Blender 2.80 will look
like. Regardless of whether your an old hand or a complete beginner,
there will be something in this talk for you.

More information can be found at:

https://www.blender.org/

If you want to give the alpha version a try before hand, or work along
with the examples during the talk, then go to:

The meeting will be held at Enterprize Launceston 22 -24 Patterson st
Launceston, on Saturday 24th of November, starting at 2:00pm.

This will be the last meeting for the year. We will be back in
action on the last Saturday in January 2019.
