[LCP]Ethereal in Linux
hi
does anyone know in linux, say Red Hat 9 kernal 2.4, using Ethereal
network packet analyser, would it be able to trace the traffic from
loopback address?
i configure my box to have a couple of loopbacks address, i havent try
to use Ethereal yet, but soon...based on my understanding about other
network monitoring analyser such Fluke network inspector, these kind of
sniffer, they are based on Ethernet address to analyse the traffic, NOT
on loopback address, does anyone got any idea?
