[LCP]newbie question

i've installed the redhat 7 recently, and use gcc to
compile and link a very simple 'hello world' program
for test. the compilation and linking was ok. but the
result executive file is unable to run. the property
of this file is x-application-executive. 
how could i run the c-built file.
