[Linux-aus] Media and communication suggestion (was: Re: Flounder Feb 2026 meeting report)

There is obviously some conceptual overlap between this and the existing
Media and Communications subcommittee.  Currently with only one member, the
present focus of this subcommittee is necessarily restricted to
communication with the LA membership.  Actively seeking out external
promotional opportunities in the media is certainly something to consider,
although it needs people to come forward to assist with that work.

As part of the communication review this year, the Linux Australia Council
will take the above suggestion on board.  In the meantime, we encourage
anyone who would like to be involved in wider media activities or the
existing subcommittee's tasks to get in touch (council at linux.org.au).
