[Linux-aus] About luv-announce: When is a mailing list "the same" or "different"?

In a response to one of my recent emails, I was told by Russell Coker:

> The original mailing lists are still running.

> The new service is on different addresses and is not a mailing list

I haven't tried to verify any of this points myself. If these points are
true, it becomes much harder (IMHO) to try to justify that it is the
same mailing list.
