[Linux-aus] Facebook

It's been around many years, not really used... A FB group for the New Zealand Linux and Open Source community:
<https://facebook.com/groups/35702173285/>
Using Facebook for this sort of thing was kinda contra-indicated, there have been many other places for true enthusiasts to support each other, even today FB is fine for a subswt of 'the mainstream' but doesn't resonate with geeks who would prefer to use discord, or reddit, or anything that doesn't mean they have to use Facebook.
I administer several FB communities and pages for organisations that really don't work anywhere else, so it's quite begrudging. Not sure about the ROI even promotionally, but happy to see my group leveraged if it helps.
(Oh and my mailman instance blew up some time ago, so I can't even plug the NZLUG mailing list which I formerly hosted; the demand just isn't there relative to the learning curve I'd have to try to resolve (or bribe my more advanced friends to help me resolve, realistically).)
Mark.
