[Linux-aus] Member thoughts on RSAA26 sponsorship invitation

Yes, I would think it'd be appropriate for linux-aus to sponsor this.
Of course I don't know which proportion of available money the
suggested amount ($1000) is, but it doesn't seem in any way an
unreasonable amount. And there might not be a high direct "return" on
it, but more a matter of a background presence that may stimulate
curiosity (about linux-aus and/or FOSS), while otherwise be supporting
of the conference (or unconference) principal ideas about personal
professional development through peer exchange of experiences.
