Hi Rory,
Your email is unhelpful to this discussion and is inappropriate to send
to someone privately off-list.
I have blocked you from my SMTP server so you can no longer email me
directly, and am responding on list so the thousands of subscribers to
the linux-aus list can make their own determination if they wish to do
the same and so that your behaviour and interaction style is more
broadly known to the community. Thank you for showing us who you are.
Council - you may wish to consider whether it is appropriate for Rory to
remain subscribed to any Linux Australia lists.
Caption: Attached image is in the style of "Fraggle Rock" and reads
"Fragile Rock".
At a broader level, when we consider why people don't volunteer anymore,
don't give up their time, don't contribute their skills - this is one of
the reasons: inappropriate, puerile interactions from people who - as
far as I'm aware - have done sweet nothing to contribute to the
organisation or its goals.
You get to call me fragile when you've put in thousands of volunteer
hours for LA over nearly fifteen years, two LCA teams, multiple terms on
Council and several years doing media and comms - not before.
