Subject: [Linux-aus] OzMoot Conference, Canberra 2026

Since Everything Open 2026 has been announced for Canberra for Wednesday 
21st January to Friday 24th January[0] I thought I'd let people know about 
another conference happened in Canberra in the 3 days right after EO so 
you can attend both in a single trip[1][2]

Ozmoot is a conference that covers that covers the Works of J.R.R Tolkien 
and related topics. It takes place over 2.5 days and has about 30 people 
attend in person and the same number remote.

I'd note that it is a small and friendly conference. You don't need to be 
a serious Tolkien expert to attend. Happy to answer any questions etc.
