This grant application is not in alignment with Linux Australia's values 
[0], the grant guidelines [1], or good judgment.

The deliverables and milestones from the grant application are 
intangible; essentially this grant request seeks to fund development on 
a project that lacks a roadmap, open source repository, development 
paradigm, objectives, or guiding principles.

Moreover, the requested amount of over $AUD 8000 represents a 
significant proportion of the annual grants budget [2]. The return to 
the Australian Linux and open source community is neither articulated 
nor able to be inferred from the grant request. A strong justification 
is required for such a significant amount.

Therefore I strongly urge the Council to decline this grant request.
