Hi All,

The Draft Australian Technologies Curriculum has been released.
Grab the printable version here: http://kknet.nl/draft-oztech-curric

Opportunity for review and comment is currently open.
But is closing on May 10.
                  ^^^^^^
The Australian Council for Computers in Education has released their
response - http://kknet.nl/acce-tech-response (PDF)

Here's a submission I sent in as CC.

Here's an overview of the digital technologies subject within the
draft... this is called the Scope and Sequence Matrix.
http://kknet.nl/OzDigiTechCurric-ScopSeq

It's very high level, and the devil is in the detail of the full document -
but it's somewhat easier to parse than the 106 page PDF.

The open consultation is online. There is a survey, and interested
organisations are encouraged to make submissions.

http://consultation.australiancurriculum.edu.au/

Note: you need to register on that site to complete the survey.

I reckon a Linux Australia submission would be a good thing tm.

cheers
Donna
