I did a quick Google and Wikipedia search for the other Libre, all I found was 
hits about Libre Office and RMS in the small amount of time I spent searching.

It seems that Libre has a decent brand recognition among the Geek community 
and once LibreOffice replaces OpenOffice (which is in Debian/Stable among 
other things and still gets new deployments) this will increase.

How many people who attend conferences that LA sponsors wouldn't know about 
Libre software?
