Well, people keep saying miniconfs should be dropped because they're
painful. That's the only example of pain I could find, and I don't
personally think its a big deal.

No, that's a terrible idea. My whole point is that LCA-by-bike-shedding
doesn't work. We need to trust and support our LCA teams and let them do
what they think is best, not poll the community for every decision.

I would support a conference with no miniconfs, if the local team
thought it was the right call. I'd also support a conference with
miniconfs just as much.

The point is, people aren't stepping up because of the bike shedding. So
it should stop.
