[Linux-aus] What is LA's response to UEFI Secure Boot?

The issue is NOT having secure signatures - for which clear benefits exist.

Is NOT reasonable for proposed signature registry authority to be any
single signature user.

Is reasonable to pay proposed central registry authority to issue
signatures for the boot loader.

Issue is for signature applications to be accepted, then signatures
issued by proposed independent signature registry with charges limited
to reasonable cost expenses.

Expect each nation to require copies of these signatures for their
security reasons.

Need now simple explanations of current proposals, current views of
various OS providers, then more public discussion.
