Hi people,
I just wanted to get in contact with the organisers of LCA 2011 and have drawn
a blank with other methods.
My brother, Murray, is a technical lead at iSeek in Brisbane. He's a keen
photographer and this year ran the Photography Convention in Brisbane
(http://psq2010.com). He's an excellent organiser and is looking to help at
LCA in whatever capacity he can. He's happy just standing on a desk, if
that's what you have for him, but I'd suggest you can make much better use of
his organisational skills, his contacts in the networking industry, and his
technical knowledge. I may be biased here but I think his credentials speak
for themselves. His main interest is in learning how larger conventions are
run and (of course) helping out with a great community event.
He has sent an email to the 'contacts' email address on the LCA, however he
got no response, no bounce, and when I talked to one of the organisers on IRC
they said they hadn't received anything. Can I get some response, preferably
to him, on whether or not the committee are interested in Murray helping
organise LCA?
Thanks in advance,
Paul
