Have a good think about the companies that may need those skills and
give them a call to find out. With such specialised skills you can
really only get a job through either digging for a long time or
knowing somebody in a company that already works on related stuff.

I would think that Google would be an idea, btw, though that might not
strictly be Linux kernel development if you know what I mean...
