How many times to people have to be reminded that no attention whatsoever
should be paid to the crap this website spews? Sure, there are better and
worse bylines below the masthead, but because their business model rewards
rabble-rousing, they will all prey on niches (such as "controversies in Open
Source") which reliably reward them with hits and links.

They have a shitty reputation in local IT media circles [1] for a reason.

[1] and thankfully, plenty of companies who care about Open Source PR are
also avoiding them (cf. Simon Phipps' smackdown of one of their writers
during linux.conf.au). Not so Linux Australia thus far, but not for any
lack of advice and repeated behaviour...

linux.conf.au 2009: Hobart, Tasmania http://marchsouth.org/

<bram> boc: how do you rule?
