[Linux-aus] How can we address gender imbalance in LA/AU-FLOSS? (Was: An Open Letter to the Open Source Community)

I've been pondering this stat for a little while now. The disparity
between the women in ICT vs women in FOSS is quite large, and I don't
think it can be solely attributed to knuckle draggers.

Thoughts on why this is would be welcome.
