If you are looking at furthering your career opportunities then I would tend to lean towards either RHCE or SLES's 
NCLP: Novell Certified Linux Professional / Novell Certified Linux Engineer.
To work this out scan through http://it.seek.com.au and look what is in demand. I have never seen an add that says "must have LPIC2"
I have seen plenty for RHCE and a few for the SUSE certs.
The thing I find is, managers are hiring, not linux geeks, so you have to apeal to the manager types, therefore I have found the popular names win.
