[Linux-aus] AUUG to close? Will there be a rush of new members to Linux Australia?

No, at least not visibly.  AUUG is for users of UNIX-like operating 
systems, whether they are IT professionals, students, hobbyists, or 
vanilla users.  Despite that it has always operated in a professional 
manner, it none the less is NOT a professional association.  No 
membership qualification exists.  AUUG is Linux Australia with a 
different name.
