I hope this doesn't turn into a crazy bike-shedding thread, and I apologise
in advance if this email contributes to it going in that direction.

That said... I would like to state my very strong support for defending the
Linux trademark. Linux really does *mean* something, and I think it is our
responsibility to make sure it means something in the eyes of the law - our
law! - as well.

Thanks for kicking arse with such a difficult issue.
