Hello all,

Open Computing in Government 2005 conference (OCG 2005) is only two
weeks away, and we have even more great speakers for you!

The Minister responsible for AGIMO - the Australian Government
Information Management Office, Senator Eric Abetz, will be launching the
Guide to Open Source Software for Australian Government Agencies. And
the team from AGIMO will present the Guide in detail, giving you a
chance to get first-hand information on the future of open-source
software in government from the team who set the standard.

Registrations are open at http://www.auug.org.au/events/2005/ocg

The conference will be held at the Manning Clark Centre at The
Australian National University, Canberra, on 18 and 19 April 2005.

A list of speakers, and their focus areas is listed at
http://www.auug.org.au/events/2005/ocg/speakers.html. No matter what
aspect of IT in government interests you, you'll find a presentation to
spark your interest.

Plus, it's not all hard work :-) The Conference Cocktail Reception on
the Monday evening gives you the chance to meet the speakers and other
delegates.

If you have any questions about the conference, please don't hesitate to
ask.

Regards
Grant Allen
