Wouldn't it make sense to do this the other way around? So that the
committee has the responsibility, but may delegate it as necessary? I am
used to constitutions that operate this way. Then the committee can sort out
the specifics of how to deal with it, rather than just the secretary.
What confuses me about this is that the terms I am used to already appear in
the constitution:
(i) who has been approved for membership of the association by the
committee of the association.
So which bit are you changing?
