and represent the unexpressed yet widely and keenly felt angst towards you

it to be seen as an official expression of the committee, but as far as I'm
concerned, telling you officially where to go would be a very productive
motion that the committee could take right now. He has well represented my
feelings on the matter, if not in the manner in which I would express them.
