I would like to nominate Paul (rusty) Russell as an ordinary committee
member. Rusty has agreed to be nominated.

Here is some blurb on Rusty until he sends in his own:

Rusty is the originator of the LCA series of conferences, which
started with the CALU conference in 1999. Rusty is also very well
known as a long term Linux kernel contributor, as well as being a
significant contributor to a wide range of other open source
 projects.

Since organising the original CALU conference Rusty has provided
continuity by organising the "ghosts of conference past" each year,
which provides a valuable forum for previous conference organisers to
pass on their knowledge to the next years organisers. I think that
Rusty would be an excellent addition to the LA committee.

Cheers, Tridge
