Did anything come of this as far as you know Stewart ?(others?)
Jonathan Oxers page regards this appears to only have a couple of TBAs
and perhaps's from Deb Sigs etc.. a fairly poor showing from .au (imho)
Will LA will not be doing anything nationally?
I am just working on the latest edition, and this will be the
edition to run before the date.. so if LA is doing something,,
I need to get it in before 25th July..
Thanks

FWIW, Japanese or Chinese sounds good to me.
Would you like to set a date?
I'm busy the next 3 weeks and then leaving to the States and Europe.
I will be back in August -- just in time to celebrate Debian's 10th
birthday which is on August 16th. We should definitely plan a party
for that (but if you want to go out for lunch/dinner in the meantime,
no problem).
Maybe a synchronized nation-wide birthday bash could be organized?
That
could attract some more attention from the general community/media and
raise our profile in Australia.
There's also been the mention of doing something at LCA04 for a
belated
debian birthday do. Don't quote me on details though, i saw a dot
point
:)
