K12LTSP is just RHx + LTSP on the same CDs. LTSP is distro independent.

But you have to watch out for any config files that your distro gives
priority to before those startup scripts, e.g. they may use variables
defined in /etc/sysconfig/*. Otherwise next time you run the config
tool, your edits may get voided and you wonder why. For SuSE the setting
is $DISPLAYMANAGER in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager. Also see
$DISPLAYMANAGER_REMOTE_ACCESS, $DISPLAYMANAGER_STARTS_XSERVER and
$KDM_SHUTDOWN. YDMV.
