I bought a machine with a Promise PDC20276 on board with hope of using
it as my RAID solution for that machine, and after stuffing around
with it for a day or two and a few calls to my supplier, he
recommended that i just use Linux software RAID since it was easier,
more widely-known, and almost the same in terms of performance.
Promise seem to implement most of their RAID in software anyway.
