Hello all, I just joined the list, and I am a Linux newbie. I just started playing around with Red Hat 7.3. I find that the file browser in Gnome is very slow. I am running a AMD 1700+ with 512MB RAM, but the file browser takes about 1-2 seconds to load the next directory when I double click a folder. Is this normal? Regards, Alan Byrne
