The role itself involves:

     * Performing research and analysis of recent keyword patterns and trends
     * Developing online content for leading e-commerce sites
     * Developing and performing metric-driven experiments to grow user  
traffic and conversion rate
     * Contributing to the development of enhancements to YourAmigo's core  
technology
     * Setting up automated crawling of customers' online product catalogue
     * Liaising with customer technical teams and overseas account managers
     * Monitoring and improving the performance of key e-commerce metrics

The successful applicant will have:

     * A common sense approach to solving complex problems
     * A track record in producing tangible results
     * An understanding of web technologies and search engines
     * Experience working in a Linux development environment
     * Experience with HTML, Javascript, HTTP protocol and SQL
     * Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Perl) would be an advantage
