Technical Consultants (x2), Contract

The company I work for have an immediate need for 2 Technical Consultants that will be based in the Melbourne CBD.

The people we seek will possess knowledge and/or experience in at least 7 of the following general areas:

*OS Installation and Administration for both  Linux and Windows on Intel Hardware
    
*Integration of Windows and Linux

*Samba and CIFS

*Apache / Tomcat on both Linux and Windows

*Sendmail/Postfix/Amavis/Courier IMAP/MySQL

*LAMP and WAMP

*Amanda/Rsync

*TCP/IP, Networking, Security, IP Tables

*DAS and NAS Storage

*Shell scripting

*SME related systems integration


The type of work we do requires people with a relevant degree or a demonstrable equivalent level of knowledge.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also a must. Successful candidates will have demonstrated a willingness to continue growing their knowledge either formally or informally and the company will encourage and help this to continue.


This position will be under an initial 6 month contract and offers good rewards for the right people.
