BigWorld Pty Ltd is seeking an exceptionally talented programmer to join the team working on its award winning Massively Multiplayer Online Games development software – a complete development suite with server, client and tools for creating MMOGs with hundreds of thousands of players.<br> 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Programmer who has outstanding problem solving, documentation and people skills to help build the next set of features for this technology.<br>

As a member of a tight knit team of world-class software developers, you will be developing code to further extend the functionality in our World Building technology, and test and exploit every feature to its maximum. Some of the key areas include specialised load balancing and fault tolerance systems, physics and 3D world navigation systems, dynamic updating, network layers, data base optimisation, security and much more.<br>

<b>Mandatory Requirements:</b><ul><li>5+ years C++ programming
<li>Linux/UNIX software development environments (incl gcc, gdb, cvs etc).
<li>Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP/IP, network programming etc
<li>Excellent communication skills and a strong team player 
<li>Must be self-motivated and able to work successfully without direct supervision
<li>Ability to analyse complex issues
<li>Strong university degree (hons or Distinction level grades)
</ul><b>Desirable:</b>
<ul><li>Python scripting experience
<li>Technical Writing experience
<li>Good people skills and ability to work with many different engineers with differing talent levels
<li>Forward thinker who keeps long term goals in mind even when dealing with short term problems
<li>Understanding of MMOGs
<li>Practical experience with developing MMOG systems
</ul><b>Salary:</b>to $100k Neg depending on ability and experience.
