Senior Developer, Contract

Create a basic Linux MPEG media player that can
 be called from other Linux programs.  

We are looking for a senior developer with 
advanced knowledge of creating clean, 
object oriented programs in Linux using a C++ 
development environment.  
   *    A knowledge of programming and 
controlling multi-media under Linux 
on Intel/AMD PC's an advantage.  
   *    A knowledge of reading and writing XML 
control files 
     *    A thorough knowledge of TCP/IP 
communications essential  
   *    Experience in programming high 
performance multi-threaded applications    
   *    Ability to write clean, well documented 
source code using a standard IDE and to 
maintain a strict version control system.

The initial task is not a complex one; however, 
the code will form the basis for porting our 
highly advanced Windows Media Playing System 
into the Linux environment.
