The Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre, University of Melbourne, as part of a broader research and development collaborative project, is seeking an Open Source Developer. The initial appointment will
be until 31 December 2001. The person will require skills and experience in: 

Open source development
Perl/PHP scripting
SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
HTML
Documentation (Docbook)
OOP
XML
Soap/XML-RPC
Developing on a Linux system

A knowledge of  Access/VBA would be beneficial as the task involves converting an Access application to open source tools.
