[Flounder] Matrix to email

Most of the discussion in Flounder is in Matrix.  Would there be interest in 
having some of that gatewayed to email?

One possibility is to have an archive of Matrix messages sent to the list 
after a specified amount of time and/or a specified number of messages.

Another possibility is that we could have some sort of configurable Matrix bot 
that would send messages to an individual based on their preferences, 
including the possibility of a regex and/or messages that tag the person's 
Matrix address.

Is there interest in such things?
