Hi all, debheads,
Apparently there's a global debian bugsquashing party this weekend. It's
a bit of a free-for-all, coordinated via IRC. However if you're in Sydney
and you'd like to get together and participate with help and jostling
from others in a real room, here's your chance:
UNSW Compsoc has arranged a venue for Sydney's Debian developer
community to participate IRL in Bug-Squashing Party #6 [0].
This event will be held in the seminar room of the School of Computer
Science and Engineering, Building K17, UNSW Kensington campus, during
the following hours:
10am - 10pm Sat Nov 10 2001
10am - 10pm Sun Nov 11 2001
It is open to both Debian developers and non-developers.

So, it should be a whole lot of fun. Even if you're not a Debian developer,
fixing bugs and testing software is a great way to learn about free
software development. If you're a coder, you can benefit from the karma
of fixing some of the bugs in other people's programs ;-)
see you there,
Conrad.
-> a bugfix a day keeps the daemons away.
