Hi!
I live near Bairnsdale at Paynesville Vic.


I would like to contact anyone in the area who is familiar with Linux
Mandrake and would be able to help me install it and remove my windows
xp.I'll even pay them!
I have bought a " next' handbook[operating in Linux] that included three
discs containing mandrake and a lot of programs for Linux. However, beyond
the "its simple" rhetoric "just load 1st disc and follow prompts" [I never
got past first window and lost my mouse control] I'm at a loss!
my system is a good one but it has "raid". Would raid be a problem or do I
need to turn it off?
I just dont have the experience needed to remove xp and enstall Mandrake. If
anybody can help a newbie it would be much appreciated.
