I never advocated otherwise; stuff like the Gimp (Gimp 1.3 kicks
everything else I've seen all over the park) absolutely rocks.

I agree that too many knobs confuse the user; I'm a vehement advocate of
this philosophy. However, you have to have a knob to actually turn, or
the door becomes utterly useless ...
