There are quite strict laws with that, you would have to be very careful to
stay within the law (doubly so if you're doing it in computerbanks name)

Subject: [Computerbank] Thoughts on very old machines.

I have been thinking, about possible uses for old machines that are not
normally worth placing with your clients.

You know, I could write gambling type software (sounds weird doesn't
it),
with good graphics. But without any coin slots.

Imagine a settup for elderley citizen groups, retirement villages, and
institutes such as hospitals etc. A fantastic little casino, but
without
money. People could win a cup of tea and scones or something if they
had
enough point up. And group games like lotto, bingo etc. All set up on
old
network gear. And this would also have the ability to take the wind
out of
the sails of the outrageous gambling problem in our society. Cos you
know,
it is not just the money that bites people, it is this win/lose bug.
People
get just as serious playing for matches as they do for money. And the
entertainment value is just as great, when no money is involved. So I
am
really talking about free entertainment rather than gambling. :-)

Just random thoughts,

greg
