[Announce] Expressions of Interest for Everything Open 2027 and 2028

Dear community,
It is time to start planning the Everything Open conferences in 2027 and 2028. Linux Australia would like to hear from people who are interested in bringing the conference to their city, or being a part of the organising team for the conference. Even if you are not at the point of being able to put in a complete bid we would like to hear from you. The Linux Australia Council will be happy to assist in polishing/completing a bid. 

At this stage we're not expecting you to have a finalised bid. The Linux Australia Council would be happy to help you work towards preparing a bid and can help put you in touch with people who have experience in running past Everything Open conferences. If you are interested in running an Everything Open, please send an email to Council with details on the host city you are thinking of and a list of team members who would like to be involved.

* Expressions of Interest for 2027 Conference by 29 March 2026
* Expressions of Interest for 2028 Conference by 12 April 2026
