[Announce] Everything Open 2026 submission deadline extended to 21-Sep - plus writing workshop!

Hello Everyone!

Firstly, thank you for all the great session submissions we have received so far. Some people have asked for a bit more time to make a submission, so we’re going to extend the deadline for two more weeks until Sunday 21 September 2025, 11:59pm, anywhere on earth (AoE).

Are you a developer, maintainer, user, contributor, distributor of anything related to the world of Open Methodologies and Technologies? We want to hear from you! Submit your session proposals now at _https://2026.everythingopen.au/programme/proposals/_.

Everything Open (EO) is a conference that welcomes all ranges of talks from the seasoned speakers to new people. We are a very welcoming space for speakers and we want you to help us make EO the best conference it could be.

If you are unsure as to what to write or how to write it, on Thursday 11 September 2025 at 7:30pm Sae Ra from the Session Selection Committee (SSC) will be running a session on putting together a submission with some insights as to what the SSC is looking for. The session will walk you through putting together a proposal, what is expected, what the SSC is looking for, and then we will spend some time helping you put together your talk.
