[TasLUG] Peter Billam

Dear TasLUG,

I must share the sad news that Peter Billam has passed away. He had been 
fighting ill health at Royal Hobart Hospital for the last two months 
when on Wednesday his condition deteriorated suddenly. He died 
peacefully in the company of a friend on Thursday afternoon.

The TasLUG community was dear to Peter. Although it was difficult for 
him to access Matrix from the hospital bed he frequently asked for news, 
wanting to know what everyone was doing and talking about. Members may 
recall his presentations back when we were meeting in person, and he 
leaves behind one of the finest examples of a hand-made personal 
website[1], which he loved working on. I will not attempt to summarise 
his many and varied projects - I invite you to have a browse.
