[TasLUG] Hobart TasPubLUG: Thursday 18 October

Hello All,

This month is TasPubLUG time again. We will be heading to the pub to 
talk about Free and Open Source software, hardware, and culture... or 
just to generally hang out and having something to eat and drink. This 
time I've randomly pick the Brunswick Hotel as the venue:

    When: 6:30pm, Thursday 18 October

   Where: Brunswick Hotel (67 Liverpool Street, Hobart)

If you are planning to come along (even for just a quick drink) please 
let me know by Tuesday so I can make the appropriate booking if needed.

If you can't make it to meetings, then we always enjoy people dropping 
by the IRC/Matrix channel for a chat.

In a attempt to combat the current spat of spam in the channels we 
currently only allow users with registered nicks to join the channel. If

Next month will be talks at Enterprize Hobart:

   - Ian Stevenson: Backups for home servers and workstations
   - Scott Bragg: Something about LoRa networks

To avoid running up aginst Christmas, we might try to have the meeting a 
bit earlier in the month and find a restaurant to eat at.
