After a nine year association with the Royal Oak, we are moving the location of our meetings to Enterpize 22-24 Patterson street. The meeting itself will start at 2:00PM, the usual time, and for those that are interested in having a catch up chat, we will be gathering from about 1:30PM. Tea and coffee will be available. This months talk will be a little different. Dues to the change of venue and the potential introduction of new attendees, we will start with a recap with a short history of Taslug in Launceston (about 20 minutes), and then we will be following that with a talk about some options for project management. The software that we will be looking at are: Freeplane https://www.freeplane.org/ Task Coach http://www.taskcoach.org/ ProjectLibre https://sourceforge.net/projects/projectlibre/ How to see lots of the regulars as well as some new faces to share the possibilities the new venue can bring. And if you want, you can even print the case on a 3D printer... The link is to: https://www.olimex.com/Products/DIY%20Laptop/KITS/ but they've been "Sold Out" for weeks, there must be a demand. Well firstly, that could be an interesting thing to do one of these Thursday nights, but secondly if a kit can but put together in Bulgaria, why not in Australia ? It could be a nice geeky start-up-business ...
