Hi All,

GitHub, in association with our friends at linux.conf.au, will be hosting a Patchwork at Wrest Point on the evening of Monday the 16th of January, starting at 6:30pm.

Patchworks are self-directed, hands-on workshops for learning Git and GitHub. Participants go at their own pace, with GitHubbers and community mentors ready to help in case anyone runs into any trouble.

This free event is open to all beginners to Git and GitHub, or mentors who would like to help others learn, and food and refreshments will be provided. A linux.conf.au ticket is not required to attend the Patchwork.
