<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Hi friends,<strong><br></strong><br>Call for Proposals for PyCon AU 2023 closes on <strong>15 May AoE</strong> (anywhere on earth)! That's less than two weeks away!</div></div>
<div dir="ltr"><br></div>
<div dir="ltr">We welcome submissions from everybody, including those:</div>
<ul>
<li>who have never given a conference talk before,</li>
<li>who are new to Python,</li>
<li>who have built interesting things in Python,</li>
<li>who have broken interesting things with Python,</li>
<li>who have helped build Python, and</li>
<li dir="ltr">who have expertise to share with our community from fields outside of Python (and outside of technology).</li>
</ul>
<div dir="ltr">Our CFP process also encompasses submissions to the four <strong>Specialist Tracks</strong> (Education, All Things Data!, DjangoCon AU, and Our Connected Universe), so you can submit your talk to the main conference and the Specialist Tracks with one click.</div>
<br><div dir="ltr">This year, you can also submit to our new <strong dir="ltr">PyCon Fair!</strong> We have an exhibition hall style setup, during a block of talks in the main conference (e.g. between morning tea and lunch, or lunch and afternoon tea—roughly 90-120 minutes). Each stall will be provided with an A0-size poster on a pinboard, and a trestle table; the rest is up to your imagination. Show off some cool robotics demos, some interesting visualisations, or even better, something we haven’t thought of! </div>
<br><div dir="ltr">The conference will take place in Tarndanya/Adelaide, Australia, from <strong>August 18th to 22nd,</strong> 2023.</div>
