count the number of Branch miss predictions and cache misses under
linux on a intel pentium II machine. Unfortunately my program is giving me
a segmentation fault. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I read some document recently, saying that I
need to anable some flag in the kernel to execute this instruction "rdpmc". Is
that so? Could some body please help me on this.</FONT></DIV>
