<p>Thank you for everything you have done for the council,
organisation, and community as a whole. You have undersold your
efforts as I don't think people realise just how much more you
have done in addition to lead the council (such as being a core
organiser on multiple LCA's, papers committees, miniconfs, other
conferences, and dealing with a multitude of things far beyond the
typical council duties behind the scenes - obviously far too many
achievements to list). Where we have had the opportunity to work
together on a personal level it has been an absolute pleasure and
I cannot thank you enough for your leadership.<br>

<p>I am very pleased that you are hanging around with us folk to
continue to provide your wealth of knowledge and wisdom and look
forward to when we can catch up again in person and celebrate your
epic success :-).</p>

I had made the decision some time ago and began the handover process to Council about August of this year. </span></p>

Linux Australia is in good stead to continue to be a strong presence representing Linux and Open Source in Australia. But, to do this we need more hands on deck. So please consider this a call to action. Linux Australia needs more volunteers to make light work and for new ideas, thoughts, opinions, contributions, and drive. </span></p>
