<div><br></div><div>Topics last month were:</div><div>- vaguely about Software Freedom Days, installfests (which seem to be vanishing ??) and other forms of demo for non-users of Linux</div><div>- favourite Live CD (Mint, Fedora, the ubuntu tour (<a href="http://www.ubuntu.com/tour/en/">http://www.ubuntu.com/tour/en/</a>) no reboot needed, and last but not least <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_live_CDs">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_live_CDs</a>)</div>
<div> (one suggestion involved no CD at all: for the newbie Ubuntu or derivative on a usb installed by unetbootin with a good sized live amount)</div><div>- TASLUG is going or planning to have a "North & South" meeting</div>
<div><br></div><div>On another note, one of the LCA2013 team members, David Tulloh, has been contacting lugs around Australia to confirm details and update a central list.</div><div>If you're from a QLD based LUG, and haven't heard from David, can you please send an email to '<a href="mailto:contact@lca2013.linux.org.au">contact@lca2013.linux.org.au</a>' with your lug name, location and best contact method ( ie - mailing list, google group, etc) so that we can add you to the spam-mailout sheet.</div>
